"Expect the unexpected. Sustainable protein and an excellent yummy taste."

Crickets have a mild, slightly nutty flavour, but the taste mainly follows the seasoning they’re prepared with. You can eat crickets instead of chips or nuts, and they’re enjoyed around the world as a snack with beer or wine. In Mexico, crickets, known aschapulines are even eaten as a main dish. You can also sprinkle them over salads or risotto.

Perhaps because they’re often called the food of the future. Today, crickets make a fun and unexpected gift! But this present is more than just a tasty surprise. Crickets are as rich in protein as the best beef, yet they require up to 2,000 times less water to produce.

Our crickets are raised on a cricket farm in a controlled environment. They have plenty of space, as they naturally thrive in dense populations even in the wild. No antibiotics are used in their feed. Before each harvest, the crickets are gently cooled, which puts them into a natural state of dormancy—similar to how insects rest during cold winter weather. We consider cricket farming a modern, sustainable form of agriculture for the future!
